Creating Sacred Space!

Yesterday, while in Chicago I went to visit one of the most beautiful sacred spaces anywhere. The Baha’i Temple in Wilmette, Illinois. It has always been one of my favorite places to go while in the area. It is a perfect place to go and meditate and pray. In fact it was built for just that. I always sit in the center of the temple under the beautiful dome where I find the energy the most potent! When I am there it feels to me like I am getting a tune up. A realignment of my chakras and a filling up of the nectar that is the Divine. So delicious and nourishing! For me this is essential. I often say to my clients. It is as if we are all beautiful flowers in the desert on the earth. With so many challenges and things that drain our energy. We need to find the time and the places that fill us up. Just like the flower needs its water to survive and thrive. So too we need the light. The connection with our Divine nature!

I invite you to make a list of the places that give you that feeling. Where you are nourished and refilled with the nectar that is the Divine! It can be a sacred space such as the Baha’i Temple. Or even closer to home such as your altar, garden, during meditation, or a walk in nature. The important piece to remember is YOU are the precious flower that seeks that light to thrive. Take a moment and refill with Divine nectar. You will be so glad you did!
